OS: Win 2000 / Vista
CPU/Ram: 1.4G,512k/1.6G,2M
Model/Manufacturer: Homemade / HP
Comment:
I have a PC running Win 2000 Pro wirelessly connected to a Motorola SBG900 Cable modem with built in wireless router. Also connected wirelessly is a HP Laptop running Vista. Neither computers see each other, my goal is to be able to both have internet, share the printers on the PC, and file sharing.

Is anybody out there?

From control panel, select network and internet connections. Run the network setup wizard on both machines.
