Hi, I have a question, my internet disconnects every 4-6 hours every day for eternity, Iv'e come to the conclusion that I should try using a different router. The other router is a Linksys 4 port switch router. What I want to know is that if I hook this new router up will all just come together and start working or would it need have TC /IP / OSI crap setup on it before all of my PC's would start getting internet agian. So would it just be all setup or would it need to be setup. Thanks!

If you changed any of the default settings you will need to make those changes in the new router. The good news is that your Linksys probably has a settings import/export feature. So just export your settings from the old router and import them into the new router. If you havent changed any of the settings, you probably dont have anything to worry about.
