i recently reformated my laptop computer and reinstalled windows and all its basic drivers but i noticed that now i cant get wireless signals! before i just have a wireless program called broadcom (i even have the chip installed inside my computer or whatever that chip it is but its named broacom so im assuming its the same chip) and i assume the previous owner had already bought it, but now i dont have any wireless program (well i do but i need to buy a wireless card) and microsofts wireless utility that comes with laptops has been erased, does anyone know of any sofware or programs or anything that can enable me to use wifi with the need of a wireless card or usb or anything, money is very tight right now any help would be deeply appreciated thanks...

Have you tried to check if the wired connection can work? Because you'll really need an internet to know what is the driver for the wireless device.

i just found out what happned let me explain this better, when i reformated my laptop my wireless card thats already intergrated into my laptop stoped working, im assuming that the sofware got deleted because i downloaded a wifi program and it said that it couldnt detect my wifi card so therefor it cant connect so i guess the real question is how do i fix my wireless card? it cant be detected, but ur question about if it works with a wired conncetion, i assume it does, its like any computer, it just dosnt detect my wireless card so i cant use wireless signals...

Well you might really need to see the control panel's add hardware option. It will detect a hard which doesn't have any drivers on it yet and will try to look for drivers on the computer. But if it didn't detect any drivers for it then I think you should provide what kind of laptop you have in this forum.
