Hey all

Ive got a wireless networking that i use with my newly acquired sweet dell 700m. The problem is that my connection is crazy flaky, unless theres a constant stream of data in use. For example, with an idle connection, my instant messenger programs flap on and off line about every 45 seconds, and synergy (keyboard and mouse sharing prog - synergy2.sourceforge.net) disconnects.

=but=

when i'm listening to internet radio, everything works fine. I can leave all IM progs on and synergy running without problems for hours.

This Dell has an Intel ipw2200b/g chipset. My router is using G only, with WEP encryption. I've double checked my firewall rulesets ... i don't understand whats going on!

Thanks in advance.
-Bass
