I have no idea what to do, or where to begin. The wifi was working fine yesterday. I tried different networks, and it's definately my laptop. I am running XP on a Compaq Presario V5000. I tried to roll back to last week, and no matter what date I select, it won't work anyway. I'd like to figure how to fix that problem too.

I tried the basic troubleshooting that i know of. Rebooting, repairing the connection. I looked around for an answer, but i don't understand. I need detailed and clear instructions.

feel free to email me at deadfellathe1st at yahoo

Open a command prompt and run:
ipconfg /all
Post the results if you don't understand them.
