|Are you on ADSL? if so, try replacing the ADSL filter. |
What type of router do you have? i.e. what's the make and model? you may need to install a firmware upgrade on your router.
Is your ADSL filter connected directly into the phone line, or via an extension? if you use an extension try and take it out of the equation.
If you use ADSL and share the telephone line with other devices, i.e. telephone, fax, Sky TV, modem, ensure that each telephone line has an ADSL filter installed. If you have a line without a filter, disconnect the device attached to it, and see if this resolves the problem.
