and on what OS?
I just realized that it's posible host a site in Win 98, with PWS, I thought that the server should be running an OS server, any way wich are the bests web servers?

Apache running on Linux is a pretty good combo. If you've never built/hosted a website though, PWS in 98 is a good enough place to start. And no, you don't have to run a 'server' OS to host a website.

Apache is simple to run and config and supports more dabase programs like MySQL etc..than IIS..but if you need simple web server without knowledge with Linux..prefer IIS because its MS components...& easy to use. Importantly, has static IP address.
