Why no light on wireless router for each device connected?

Specs: netgear wnr2000v3

i have one laptop and two iphones running on a netgear wireless router but only the number one lights up on the router should there be one light for each device

No. They only light up for each device that's connected to it by ethernet cable, not wireless connections.
