I am trying to go from a Windows XP "Home" computer to a Network Drive that has Windows 2000 server on it.My network is a small just a small workgroup, no Domain, using DCHP. When I click on the Network Drive I have to authenticate my user name and password and I zip right thur. But why can't I go right thru all the time like I did with Windows 98? Even if I map the drive it says it can't remap it on start up because of a user name or password being invaid. But manully after that I go right thru. Thanks for reading my "happy" post. All other computers have no problem accessing the XP Box. Ghost.
