Are you referring to Profiles, or User Accounts? What if you press the Delete key?

When I right-click on Computer Manager and select Properties | Advanced | User Profiles some of the accounts there do not allow me to delete them in any way. The Delete button is grayed out too.

Are you logged in as an Administrator? Why do you want to remove them?
Try deleting them from Documents and Settings. That won't delete the accounts of course.
