I have setup a companys internal LAN with a Server 2003 SBS. To access my Network I use a DG834G which has a VPN Wizard and I use the Netgear Client and this works great.
Problem, The DG834GT does not have a VPN Wizard, so I have set it up for Windows Remote Desktop which works great, however my client requires VPN so he can run his applications which have the database on the server.

OK, so I guess you're looking for something more constructive than:
"Go buy another DG834G."
Even though that would be the easiest option.
I've had a quick look over the DG834GT manual from Netgear and though it says it supports VPN passthrough I don't think it will ever act as a VPN gateway which is what you need.
Therefore you have the onerous task of setting up the server in question(or a DMZ server with capacity to spare) as the gateway.
I don't know how this would work in connecting to the server with the database but if you're really that masochistic then take a look here:

Thanks I worked it out last night. I now run two firewall rules, first to allow Remote Desktop to the Server. The other to allow VPN via TCP/IP and it works like a dream. Just as fast out of the office than in.
