How do you currently connect to your wireless network if you do not know the security key?

What make/model router do you have? Did you set it up or was it set up by another?
To find the security key if you do not know it you need to log into the router admin interface and look at the WLAN settings page. The security encryption type and key will be there.

To access the extender's admin page you need to open a browser and in the address bar, at the top, type: www.mywifiext.net. If you are asked for a username and password then the defaults are admin and password.

If you are using a netgear router with the extender, then you should be able to just press the 'WPS' buttons on both units to get them to 'talk' to each other.

If you are still having problems then you will need to check the set-up guide that came with it to see which lights should be on etc.

Unclear from your post Roseforone why you have a range extender.

What we need to know is the make and model of the wireless router you are presently using.

What does 19216801 refer to? A ip address?
