Comment: Hey guys, I know that you use the crossover to connect two pcs together and share internet connection but is that the only time you use it? When else would you use it? How about connecting internal nic to router?

Reply: (edit)The most common example of using a crossover cable is for connecting two computers together. Another would be connecting two hubs and not using the uplink port. I don't think you would need it for connecting the pc to a router.

Reply: (edit)cross over is only for 2 pcs and for testing purpose only like testing the connection, nic card and so on. Hub is better because you can add more pcs to it.
