My friend has a westell modem. It's a 2100 series. He wants to hook it up though USB but he has to have the drivers. He didnt get a CD with the modem. We found the drivers on the internet but we dont know how to install them. We search for the drivers in device manager and it comes up empty and we also burned it to a disk. Does anyone know how to get these drivers working? thxxx

Westell modem 2100 are ethernet-based modems. There is no driver update that I know of.
If your friend do note NIC other than USB ports, he will need to buy "ethernet adapter" in order to connect the computer to the modem for internet access.
