I have this weird problem with my internet, I am able to access the internet for about 5 minutes after I boot up and then it does the following:
1. Displays the "Network cable has been unplugged" message
2. Message dissapears
3. RepeatsI am using a Linksys Wireless Router with onboard LAN from my new Abit IS7 Motherboard. Please help.

That's a warning from your computer notifying you that you are not Hard Wired to a LAN (your wirelessly connected so your fine, but it doesnt now that).
To eliminate the message,
right click on the icon
left click on "open network connections"
right click "local area connection" icon
left click "properties"
Down at the bottom you should see a box to "notify when limited or no connection".
Clear the check mark and click "OK".You should no longer get this message.

I am not connected, it doesn't matter if the message shows up it's that it is no longer connected to the internet. I am NOT using a wireless connection for that computer.

You mentioned you were using a Wireles router, but didn't mention you were hardwired....that's a HUGE difference in troubleshooting.
Remeber we only have the clues you give us to help you.
That message is the only thing that makes sense.
You dont get the message "Network cable has been unplugged" unless you have a physical connection problem. No physical connection to the router..guess what...no connection to the internet.
That message is only used for physical issues which means the problem is either a bad cable, bad NIC, or a bad port on the router.
Try
1) a new cable,
2) a new NIC,
3) a new port on the router. And there's always the outside chance the router itself has gone bad. There's a reason why Linksys routers are "cost effective" (cheap). And routers do go bad.
Look for a physical problem.
