I have tried several web servers now and they all seem to experience the same problem so I am sure it is not the web servers themselves. I have a web-site which I backed upto cdrom, when attempting to view any page beyond the index, it kills my internet connection like a self inflicted DoS. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?

More information:
I run an FTP server and I have NO problems out of it,when someone connects to the webserver pages can be viewed without a problem but pictures in open indexes(yes the user permissions have been set correctly) cause the router to lock because when I ping the router the destination is unreacheable and this remains true fro every computer in the house until I reset the router. Please help, I have to get my server up and running and this is really slowing me down.

I have fixed the problem with my router/internet connection but rather than just delete this post I wil explain how I fixed it.

Seems my routers last update was in 2000 and it was having a problem with IP Multicast so I updated the firmware on the Linksys to the 1.44.2 instead of the 1.36, hope that helps anybody else who has been plagued by this
