Along with the Linksys router recommended by pgckkwvdzm in Response # 1, you will also need a wireless network card for each PC if you don't already have them. I recently purchased a couple of TrendNet TEW443PI cards at CompUSA (click here), and they work fine.

Oops, just noticed that you have eight laptops, so the TrendNet cards I ordered would not work for you. Unless you have built-in wireless cards, you will need wireless PCMCIA adaptors. Check at any local computer store, or order them online from a reputable vendor like newegg.com.
