Specs: Windows XP
i've got a verizon wireless usb card for mobile internet. just bought a brother wireless printer. have no router or phone line access in the home office i'm using. I'm pretty sure that i will need to buy a router to connect the two without it becoming a hassle on a regular basis. are there routers out there that do not require dsl lines, telephone lines, or cable lines? Can i plug my vz card into the router directly and have it work for my printer and computer. could this work for 2 computers and the printer. i just dont want to have to pay for a phone line to have a router when the whole point of getting a wireless card was to not need a phone line for internet.

Yes. There are routers out there that can use a USB or ExpressCard connection for their link to the internet. Check out D-Link (http://www.dlink.com) or Linksys (http://home.cisco.com/en-us/wireless/linksys/) for possible models.
