I know that I should have asked my university for this question first. However, I just wanted to make sure that I go in the right way. My friend opens a new company inside the campus and uses all the facilities that the campus provided, the computers and the Internet, which is wireless. So, she doesn't have a static IP Address. What does she has to do to work from home via VPN. What does she has to ask the campus for VPN facility. VPN Gateway? Because she doesn't use a router or broadband modem now. Just plug the computer to the campus network and use the Internet. Thank you very much.

What does she has to do to work from home via VPN.

She has to contact the university's IT department and explain her needs and they will help her get a VPN setup.

If she can plug in anywhere at campus, why doesn't she plug in at home and do the same? We're just talking internet access right?

Does not sound like she needs a vpn. Why do you think she does?

"My friend opens a new company..."

Isn't that nice of the campus and taxpayers to pay for that?

I hope when she gets rich off this company she will donate back to the taxpayers or campus.
