VPN tunnel and DNS

I have two Linksys VPN routers WRV54G, that have a VPN tunnel between the private IP hosts of 192.168.1.0 (a) and 192.168.2.0 (b). IP traffic passes fine, but DNS traffic does not, I can not look anything up on either host via hostname, but IP traffic is unimpeded, what can I do to remedy this?
