VPN & local server.

Specs: Windows XP
Hi, I hope I'll get some help!
So, first:

I have a computer connected to the internet through a router.
I have a server running on that computer, accessible from the internet (port forwarded).

The server is basically just a TCP/IP socket proxy.

What's working without using a VPN:

Clients get connected to the proxy, they use the router ISP IP.
Okey, but I want them to get the VPN IP.

With a VPN:

Clients apparently get connected the proxy but nothing seems to happen.

What might be the problem ?
Thank you.

It's not a problem. It's a security feature of the VPN, not to allow split tunneling.
