VPN connection to DI-804HV

Hello, I have a DI-804HV,and I would like to setup a PPTP VPN connection so I can connect to the DI-804HV using the Windows PPTP client. Right now for the testing purpose I have a network cable connected from my DI-804HV to my computer directly. I have followed the following HOWTO: http://tiny.cc/fKFKq when I try to connect to the DI-804HV I get a "Verifying username and password" after which it disconnects. I have tried from many different computers, and I have even restored the DI-804HV to its factory defaults few times. But always the same. Any ideas, on what could be wrong?
