We have clients (all using W2K machines) connecting to our network (W2K server) through a VPN. All the clients are able to establish their connection using PPTP. If they attempt to force an L2TP connection, they are unsuccessful. The receive error 791 (security policy not found). All these clients have the correct certifcates (stored on local machine store and user store). We have been trying for some time to get this resolved, with no luck. Has anyone else run into this?\

Is WIN2K Server behind CISCO PIX firewall?

No the server is not behind a Cisco PIX firewall. As far as I cant tell, the error is being caused on the client side.
