Please help! The laptop identifies the Verizon-890L-B9CE as a wireless network, but will not connect. I don't know how to upgrade drivers without connecting to the internet. My desktop connects with no problem.
Why will it not connect? Is the Verizon wireless network secured? WPA or WPA2 ? From a brief read of the laptop user manual it seems it supports WEP and WPA but there is no mention of WPA2 so if that is the encryption standard in use by your modem/router then the laptop may not be compatible. You may be able to change the router to WPA.
