I have been having problems trying to setup a home LAN network between my two vista computers. No matter what I try, nothings works, I can only share internet. Im using a modem connected into my switch via Cat5 cable, and the two computers connected by a separate Cat5 cables also into the switch. So if anyone has successfully made a LAN network using Vista, I would appreciate any help.

Emm..if you are using switch, you won't be able to share Internet connection due to no routing feature on switch. If you are using router, then you can take a look on this wired home network setup tutorial to help you.
