Hi,
I've just installed Virtual PC on to my desktop. My desktop has XP installed and I'm running Windows 98 on the Virtual PC. I connect to a Wirless Belkin Broadband router via my desktop and want to be able to connect to it via the Virtual PC but am getting nowhere fast with it!
I think there is a general connectivity problem from Virtual PC as I can't ping the desktop I've installed it on. Can anyone give me a starting point?? Also will I be able to connect to the internet via a Wireless Network on Windows 98?

You should be able to do everything on Virtual PC you can on a normal PC. Have you set up the IP address etc correctly on the VPC?

Hi, I'm having the same problem.
When using "Shared Networking" I can connect fine (ie, the guest can connect to the external Internet via the host), but it's placed behind a NAT.
I'd like to use the direct connect option (where the guest is given its own IP), but I'm having no luck with that. Indeed, when I choose that option the guest can't contact the Internet at all, or even initialize the ethernet drivers.
