Comment: Is there a way to view the downloaded email on another computer from mine? The problem is that when I access my employer's email account on my machine, I can't see what he has already opened and read, so the only way to do this is go to his office and log in on his computer and see what he has downloaded and opened. We are using Outlook Express and have it set to leave a copy of the messages on the ISP based mail server. I only want to forward what he hasn't read. I can set up a link to connect to his computer's outlook express but the application just runs and brings up the same thing I get with my application, it doesn't really show what is actually on his PC. I need to be able to forward only his new, unread e-mail to him at his home.

Reply: (edit)This is a limitation of Pop3/SMTP mail. Consider getting your own Exchange server, or purchase Exchange managed services from such a provider. TECH-NO-LOGICAL ROMANCE!http://www.homestarrunner.com/tgs12.html

Reply: (edit)Doesn't the ISP offer webmail access to your mailboxes? If so, why can't he just login to the web mail app from home? Surely he would know which messages he has already read, and if he has chosen to leave copies of the messages on the server, everything is guarantee to be there.
