I used to have excellent speed on the internet but i got a virus recently and now my internet is really slow.. i've reinstalled Firefox a couple of times but it doesnt fix the problem... what should i do?

I ran the MalwareBytes' and got rid of the virus and pop-ups but my internet is all f-up and i'm not very good with computers so.. any advice? -I am running NOD32 antivirus program only...
