Hi All,

I've been looking at using Active Directory and GPO to map printers to users when they logon based on a security group in AD, even if the printers are attached to their local PC rather than on a DC.
Basically I should be able to create two groups in AD, Global and Local and nest the global into local, then add the users and computer object into the global group. The user should logon to their pc and the printer will pull down based on the security group and script. Has anyone got any ideas how I can achieve this or have a script thats usable.

In addition: you can find a kixtart script that maps printers basing on computer groups in Active Directory under www.printerscript.com
