I have a home wireless network running thorough a Belkin Wireless router modem. At various times, (Depending which Kids are home at the time) there are 3 desktops & 2 laptops on line. I Have a 8mps ADSL connection and on one desktop ( the oldest ans slowest) I get approx 7mps download which I'm quite happy with. The other computers cant seem to get above 3mps speed!, and obvious reasons or solutions to this<
The speed also depends on the wireless network card, you're using. Mostly the products of the same manufacurer has the best compatibility. So if your wireless network card is from another manufacturer, you may have connection problems or lower speed. This could be one reason.
