What make/model is your router? Are you sure it won't do port forwarding?
Without port forwarding, you only other option is probably going to be to place your computer in the router's DMZ, if the router has that feature. And that's not a very good idea, for security reasons.

Remote desktopping will be almost impossible Im sure as the firewall at your work will not only be blocking likely ports but also types of packets. If you just needs to access files at home then there are 2 possible solutions. A: Run a webserver on your home pc and create links. There are hundreds of methods for doing this. For your server try Uniform Server > http://miniserver.sourceforge.net/ B: Run an FTP server on your home pc and access them from work > http://www.snapfiles.com/get/cesarftp.html If the firewall is also blocking ftp:// traffic then you could still access your ftp via port 80 using something like Net2ftp > www.net2ftp.com/ A combination of both would be good. Good luck
