Here is the situation
I have one computer running WinXP Pro, with Broadband coming in from the wall into an Ethernet Card. I have another computer in the room next to me that doesn't have an internet connection. Is it possible to use two 802.11b PCI cards in those two computers to connect them and allow them to share the internet connection. If so.. how would you go about that.... as of right now I've installed the cards (Belkin PCI 802.11b 11Mbps NIC's) and they seem to be connected to each other... the only problem is that I can't get any kind of internet connection going on the Windows 98 machine... it says its connected through the "Ad-Hoc 802.11" protocol... but its not sharing TCP/IP.... what is the problem?
