Can your employer see what files you have been working on and for how long when using remote desktop?

I want to make sure they can see that I didn't access stuff I wasn't supposed to. I also want them to be able to see that I didn't change anything on the network.

Remote Desktop has nothing to do with your ability to change files or the network except that you have to be an admin. If you are not a network admin now there is no reason for you to be using RDP to remotely connect.

Instead the company should provide a terminal server or a vpn router with client software so you can use to access the network remotely.

I work from home at times and use remote desktop to gain access to my work computer. When I open a spreadsheet is this logged?
