I have a LAN connected through a router. I can access one pc from the other using remote desktop. My question is can I play something on that remote desktop and let the sound coming out of that remote desktop's speakers. Because obviously when I play something in that remote desktop the sound would come from the PC where I am using the remote desktop not from the speakers in the remote pc. Pls help

Rather than selecting a song, try remoting into the other computer and opening a media player on the remote computer, it should play the music from the remote location.
I've found a way to do it. What I needed to do was go physically to the computer where I wanted to remotely control and open up a program like Itunes or any other media player. and let it play a song. Then go into the computer where I am remotely connecting from and interactively log in to the same user account using remote desktop. Now you can play any song inside itunes for example and it will play in the remote pc's speakers. I'm not sure the above answer suggest the same. Thank you anyway.
Why don't you just share your music directory and play the music directly with a locally installed music player? Tony
That is exactly what my answer was to you....welcome! You do not physically have to go to the unit, but you do have to use the media player on the unit you intend to hear it off.
