Hi,

I was wandering if its possible to make the following setup work.

I have a computer (I will call this PC1) with 2 network cards. Network card A is connected to a device with an IP in the range 192.x.x.x.
Network card B is connected to a normal network (domain) in the IP range 10.x.x.x

Using a separate computer (PC2) that is connected to the network in IP range 10.x.x.x, I want to be able to connect to the device on network card A of PC1.

At the moment I can ping and connect to PC1, but I dont know how to get a connection to the device on the NIC with the IP range 192.x.x.x

Any Help would be greatly apreciated.

Tom

If it is for Internet Connection Sharing use ICS.

Otherwise Bridge the Connection http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridgi...

More info will likely be found in XP's "Help & Support" section on the START MENU!

You could add a static route on the multihomed PC from the one subnet to the other.

You should clear this with your network admin or you may find yourself and your job elsewhere. You are creating a security hole in your domain network and as such in my company you would be fired.

Are you ready for where Microsoft wants you to go today?

Wanderer...

wow, good job jumping to conclusions. Are you this guy's boss?

Maybe he's looking at setting this up at home.
