Comment: A few months ago I bought a PCI wireless adapter card for my computer, I installed it and it worked, but the thing about it was that the only way that I could get a good signal was if I put my computer directly on the floor (my computer is upstairs, the network hub is downstairs). I hated having my computer on the floor so I heard about a USB adapter, this one has the same speed and everything that the PCI card has, so I tried it and the internet was much faster, even if I put the adapter on my desk. Another thing I want to add is that with the PCI card, it always said I was getting a low signal, with the USB adapter I am always getting a very good signal. Now this is what I was wondering about, on the PCI card, the speed was on average about 120mps, but with the USB adapter the speed is usually about 54mps yet the internet runs faster, now can anyone tell me why that is. One last question I have to, is it possible to have both the USB adapter and the PCI adapter running at the same time so I will get double the signal? Thank You, Jesse

Reply: (edit)AS far as I know, you cannot "shotgun" the two adapters with only one IP address. With the PCI card (hope its not a real cheap one), did you try re-orienting the antennae on the card if it has one and/or the router/wireless access point. Most wireless put out signals in what you would visualize as a "donut shape" perpendicular to the antennae. WILL POST FOR FOOD.
