Scrap the usb, its not very reliable, nor fast..
Get: 2)fast ethernet nic cards. ($40) 1)cat5 crossover cable. ($10)
A hub is not needed unless you plan to have more than 2 computers on the network.

Ricardo, I have a win Me and a win98se networked with a USB cable It cost me $85.00 total. The company also has a direct parallel cable that uses the printer port for $25.00,however you can get the same cable at staples for about $15.00. The USB cable is much faster than the parallel cable. Go to Parallel Technologies,Inc. www.lpt.com 1-800-789-4784
