Hi,
I have adsl sharing with 2 pc's linked directly with x-over cable.
My adsl modem is usb, but I would like to connect everything to a router so my client computer is no longer dependent on my host. I know you can get routers with built in adsl modems, but I am paying a rental charge for my modem to my dsl supplier with my monthly fee, this cannot be returned and deducted. So I would really like to keep my current modem since I am paying for it. It is currently a usb modem.
Are there any routers out there, just a 2,3 or 4 port, that allows connection of a usb modem? or
Is there a way to convert my usb connection to ethernet with some sort of adaptor or something?

No USB to Ethernet require Windows software but take a look at the following modem/routers from £50 they are based on Conexant hardware/software:
