Hi guys,

I have had a speedtouch 330 modem for a while and it works very well, the problem is that I have purchased a router (netgear RP614v2) The modem only has a usb connection and the router requires a ethernet connection. Is there some kind of adaptor available or do i need a new router that can take USB or a new modem that has ethernet capabilities?

The adaptor would be cheaper but I am not sure if there is such a thing. Any help?

Many thanks

Sam

You need to buy a modem with an Ethernet connection, will be cheaper than buying a router, besides, I don't think you can get routers with WAN side USB connections.

What you should have done in the first place is buy a router with a built in modem. That would have been the cheapest option.
