setup:
I have 2 Win98se machines, a laptop and a desktop. I use the linksys wireless 4 port router (lucent wireless nic on laptop, netgear nic on desktop)
Both machines can see eachother.
I can transfer all size files from the laptop to the desktop.
However, Only small files will transfer from the desktop to the laptop (like a single jpeg for example)
EVERY time I try to copy a larger file or directory the desktop locks up and I get "network is busy error", then (after 10 mins) I get "can not write to disk c" message.
I then have to do a hard reboot (which starts scandisk and surfacescan).
Does anybody have any ideas at all about this??
Thanks in advance.

How big is the file, did you check the windows\temp and/or temp folder

Did you check the swap space? You have enough disk space for it to write to it temporarily?

The file is actually not very big less than 2mb.
I have 1.3 gigs of space on the laptop and 30+ gigs on my desktop.
