I am getting an error while trying to share a PC on a LAN. The netlogon service is working. The PC inquestion is the only one in the office running Windows 2000. All others are running '98. the server is running Small Bus. Server 2000. Permissions have been set for sharing either specific directories, or the entire drive. I can browse the network and server from that PC, but no other PC (or the server) can browse into the PC in question.

This message should occur only on a down-level computer. Any action to correct the problem should be performed on that computer. The Netlogon service is not running. Action: Start the Netlogon service at the server, and then type the command again. That is the only referance I can find to Unknown Error 2455 Adam

Had exactly the same problem with a 98 -> 2K printer share. Quick search on google got me here. Thanks for the assistance. I vote for globally unique error numbers, this would make searching for errors very efficient (have you ever needed help on Win32 Error 5...). Again thanks for the resource. JAC.
