Carefully select and then copy the following command:%windir%\ie8\spuninst\spuninst.exe
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type Cmd.exe, and then press ENTER.
Right-click inside the Cmd.exe window, and then click Paste to paste the command that you copied in step 1.
Press ENTER to uninstall Internet Explorer 8.
When the uninstall program is finished, restart your computer.
Hope that helps :)

You can also uninstall it by going into Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs ... look for Windows Internet Explorer 8, highlight it, and then click the Remove button. After the PC has rebooted, you will be back on your previous version of IE.

control panel/programs and features/installed updates/ double click on IE8 and uninstall......thnx, i luv this site

in vista there is no IE8 in programs and features, in programs and features you have to go to installed updates to find it then double click and then uninstall.....
