|I don't mean to sound stupid, but how do I do that?|
I had checked the firewalls on the pc, and It was off.
I had downloaded norton last week, and I am thinking that probably that was the problem, So I switched all settings to off.
When I came in this morning
I couldn't even connect. It gave me an error 629. I took the modem off the cabinet and just tried logging it directly to a laptop and it worked. The username and password is correct, It also gave a 735 and 733 error.
So now the problem is from outside to the modem works, but from shared PC to modem it doesn't work and from other workstations / LAN to my pc>> doesn't work
I could view my workgroup in other pcs but couldn't see my pc in that workgroup, Do you think the antivirus s/w is blocking this pc's accessibility?
If so, how do I go about UNBLOCKING it?
