Unable to select DOMAIN at logon

Specs: Windows XP, a64 3400+ 512 kingst

I was messing around with my Mom's work laptop and changed her from a DOMAIN to a WORKGROUP in order to share my printer. However, at startup her username/password is not acceptable and WindowsXP tells me to check that the "user name and password AND the domain are correct".

How can I get her computer back to her DOMAIN? I do not have administrative rights (I might be able to get them however), nor do I have another accounts I can logon to.

Thanks for you help!! :) :)

You can't. She'll need to take it back to work and have her Domain Admin or IT person add the client machine back into the Domain.

Since this is her work computer, you shouldn't be screwing around with it in the first place.

Just a note though, your steps were unnecessary. You don't need to remove a computer from a Domain in order to get it to see and/or use home network resources.

Yup, I'm dumb. =)

Anyway, what steps can I take to share my printer, via my Desktop PC, to her laptop (wirelessly) and still keep her on her DOMAIN?

Much appreciated, thanks. =)
