I am running a dell server (os win2k3) behind a siemans speedstream dsl router. The server is configured as DHCP,DNS,and Domain controller. DHCP has been disabled on the lan side of the router. the server is assigned a static IP the client is able to pick up a lease from the server and I am able to ping the server, the router and the client,. The server in plugged into the lan at port 1 the client is plugged into the lan at port 2. The server has internet, the client does not. when I tried to join the clien to the domain I kept getting "domain controller cannot be located" any help or advise would be appreciated.
