Unable to connect to clients

Microsoft Windows server 2003
March 23, 2010 at 08:14:53
Specs: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise R2

I'm unable to connect to my clients using several different programs and ports. Likewise, my clients can't connect to my server using anything but remote desktop. No VNC, no windows explorer, nothing. VLANs are in place, but servers from the same VLAN and switch are able to access the clients. I'm at a loss as to what this could be, please help!! AV is loaded, definitions are p to date, and spybot is currently running, but that's where I suspect the problem lies.

Hello Could you give me a more detail description of your network setup? such as Prefix of IP's on each side of your routers and Servers? You might need to update your routing table, kind of sounds like when you try and remote in that the packet are getting lost at the change of subnet, because it doesn't know which path to take next. Also check port forward settings on router also.
