Heya, I got a Dell laptop in which I am able to connect to my wireless connection easily but with my Dell desktop I am not able to. I have the exact same settings and everything but it does not work and I was wondering if there is a way to give internet from my laptop to my PC in any way?

How is it connected?
Are you using a wireless router, where the laptop connects to?
Is the desktop connected to the router by wire?
More input needed.

The computer is trying to connect using wireless from the router, and no direct connection to the router is out of the question. The Laptop is connected on the same wireless the PC is trying to.

Are you using a special software on the desktop for the wireless connection or are you using the microsoft wireless connection manager?
In some cases, the microsoft wireless connection manager will work, but not the special wireless connection manager, which often comes with the wireless card.

The computers should not have the same IP address. If they do change the last ocet of one of the computers IPs by -1 or +1.
