I have just installed red hat 7.2 on my laptop and ever since I have been unable to connect to ethernet. I am using Xircom RealPort CardBus Ethernet and when I check the hardware browser, it seems that my card has been dectected. Whenever I try to open any web page it says page not found!! I even have W2K on the same machine and internet works fine in win platform.

I had this same problem. Check the internal firewall settings.

Did you setup your PPPoE connection right, run start-adsl from your term screen...
