hi all
i will give a quick run down on my setup

motorola SBG900 (wireless surfboard gateway) modem
-computerA - connecting to the modem via ethernet cable
-computerB - connecting to modem via usb ethernet adapter
i have set DNS up (through dyndns.com) - my custome DNS host name is set to resolve my ISP's IP address (i have made sure by updating this on the dyndns website)

i can access the internet without any issues on both PC's. both PC's are running winXP

i have gone through the modems configuration page and enabled port fowarding (custom port) and added passive port ranges.

Within bulletproof - i made sure that:
1. Servername is pointing to the DNS entry
2. Using the correct port (custom port)

I have got someone to test the connectin and they are unable to connect. Error - conenction failed - Connection timed out.

The funny this is that this was working perfectly fine before I replaced my router.
I was using a motorolo sb1500 modem connected to a netgear rp614v2 router.

Any one able to assist?
Is there anything i should be checking?

The port forward should point to the (internal) IP of the PC running your ftp server.

I'm not sure what you mean by "pointing to the DNS entry". Your IP configuration within bulletproof should be set to the IP of the PC it's running on.

Thats already been set. using the LAN IP (192.168.x.y) for that.

so your saying the servername i should be entering into the bulletproof settings is 192.168.x.y ? how are external users going to connect then? ive always had it set it to the DNS i set up for my ISP's IP and worked perfectly fine before.
