Comment:

I have a high speed internet threw Cox, I am
using a airlink a690w wireless N router. For 6
months i had no issues at all. For the last 3
weeks i have had and issue with the internet
going down after about 8-10hrs. My vonage
still works as does down loads if i have them
started on torrents. I have 1 computer
connected wired to router and 4 wireless as
well as my vonage wired. I have gone threw
ping test with airlink reseting securities
disabling firewalls cloning mac address tried
port settings. Problems still exist but if i
connect modem straight to 1 computer works
fine. Anyone able to help me with this issue
would be great.

nslookup web address.

Use ip if returned in address line.

Since you say other tcp/ip is working then I assume either dns or port 80 issue.

Guess it could be other if you use proxy.pac file or other odd setup. Most browsers don't fail like that.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
